So, who besides me is going to test it out? Are you happy that Google is stepping in the browser market?

Google is well-known for their standards compliance; I don't think it will cause many issues.

Yeah, I notice Google does have all cross browser non issue. with allot of things. I have to wait an hour and a half before it comes available for the beta version to be downloaded. I just hope my sites are going to work. I have seen the screen shots Google had released, it looks nice. They said that the browser is going to be simple and clean. The color is blue, But I think its because it was used with Windows Vista Basic. Which I think is blue.

I've just downloaded it {Shocked}

I'm not sure if I like the layout of everything, it might just take a little getting used to. But so far I'm loving the speed increase for handling javascript. This support forum is loading a lot quicker when using the slip.wr.blu skin {Cheesy}

I downloaded it too. Its fast well some what faster then IE, FF, Opera, and Safari, it will go a bit faster later on though. The only few bugs I noticed was if you are using a laptop, and scrolling up with the touch pad you have to go to the actual scroll bar. And the custom cursor does not work in it too. {Sad} other then that it has the same look, and kinda feel as Opera does.

Google funds Opera and Mozilla, so I kind of expected that.

A few things I like is this:

http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x20/magedesigns/gchrome.png

You can also expand Quick Reply Box's ^_^

It scrolls down to fast though {Unsure} and I can't use my touch pad scroller for going up. Also there is no add to dictionary {Unsure}

First impressions are quite impressive. Like Ross said, i'm not sure i'm totally blown over by the layout but its something i think i could get used to.

Solid effort, and makes life a lot easier as it'll keep to standards, and i think it'll use the same engine as another browser (Opera, i think?)

It uses the same engine as safari which I think is great as it combines safaris speed & their best features (like expanding textareas) whilst also adding the missing parts like showing where a link will take you or giving you an error console.

I use Vista because I love it...

I user FireFox because I love it..

I user Safari, Opera, IE and now GC, for cross-browser issues on my sites.

If GC has the same engine of Safari then it should be able to have the Custom Cursor, as FF and Opera has Issues and IE, and Safari does not. Go to my site that is in my sig in IE and Safari and you will see the Vista Aero Arrow. In FF and Opera you will see your own cursor.
