Once in a Lifetime Events (30th Sep 08 at 5:24pm UTC)
Ever had one? Or a few? If so what were they? Pictures?

I met the president of the United States ((pic). The Make-A-Wish foundation (wish.org) sent me when I was eight and on a list for terminally ill children. I'm a survivor and now I look back on these events and realize some were life changing.

A few years back I got to meet the pilots of the Blue Angels and go to a private airshow. Make-A-Wish was amazingly nice as I also met three gold medalist Ice Skaters and Tiger Woods.

What was your once in a lifetime event(s)?

Haven't really ever had any I guess. I mean, I've had life changing events, but not once in a lifetime events.

However, I guess I did finish compulsory school which is once in a lifetime, and I'm about to complete tertiary education - again once in a lifetime. But aside from that, nothing really from me.

MY once in a life time event was well, i had to cut apart a cat and name ever single part in its body after i ripped it out and then sow it back in and the cat back up...that was something i will never do again...it made me feel so sick.

The only di - section I've ever done is of a kidney. Learning about all it's functions, was fascinating.

Usually animal lovers become vets because they are saving animals - that's just my interpretation though lol.

Not me, I do love me Cat, but actually cutting open an animal would be hard for me to do.

ya that just depends on the person really...I would never be able to bring myself to do it, I would think of me cutting open my own animals ans would freeze up....
