This would be good for Staff only boards, but what would be good is set it up like the Categories have:

If you only want specific User groups or ranks to access this category (eg. an Administrators area) then tick the boxes next to the groups who should have access.
Yes I know you can make a Separate category for it, but if you want it placed in an Off-Topic area, then you can set it their.

Yes. It'll be a similar system to that used for categories except it will control who can post topics, post polls and post replies as well as view the board. | |
