I still go for the latter, though the text does need a bit of work as the "forum" does begin to get lost in the background other than that, i quite like it

Well glad you like, and ya i have never been good with text, but i love the layout effect that i use for the text, it makes it look good.

I like the effect, and with a better font it'll complete it wonderfully How did you go about making the corner detail and the background effect?

I used Mandelbrot Fractal effect for the background and then just filled in with black in the blank areas, and i edited out the corners from an image i had found in yahoo images. So what font do you suggest for the text? Edit: I use paint.net and the problem with it and its text is that all the text that it has looks like Arial, all exept for Segou which it cursive
