Sure.

Websites are forms of communication, true, but they are impaired forms of communication. The large pool of people to meet does not offset the disadvantage of not actually having met the person.

Also, they bastardize the term 'friend'. You do not have 200 'friends'. You have 200 people who could muster up the effort to click a link for you. If that's what a friend is to you, I suggest you log off and go spend some time outside.

What about the people who you actually are friends with? Many of the people i have as friends on my Facebook i socialise with on a regular basis {Wink}

Personally, i use it as a tool to catch up with people whom i have lost contact with. I didn't get some peoples contact details when i left 6th Form and now Facebook, Myspace etc have allowed me to contact them again and rekindle the friendship i once had.

As for other peoples, probably to find out if they want to be a Pirate, or a Ninja etc {Tongue Out}

See, I've never moved, so anyone I lost contact with, I lost contact with for a good reason. And therefore, I have no need for Facebook. ^_^
