By the way, in case you were wondering exactly why we have leap years...the Earth takes approximately 365.25 days to travel around the sun, so rather than make the new year start at 6am on January 1st or whatever, it's simpler to just count 365 days as a year, and once the .25's add up to a full day, it gets put in the calendar. {Smile}

showing 22 for a leap year birthday isn't exactly the right age XD

this may seem random, but if someone did set their birthday as the 29th of feb would vf register it being a leap year XD that be funny seeing someone registering and it saying they are like 3 years old XD

from a coding perspective it's almost always easier to calculate an actual number of years (i.e. 22 rather than 3 if it was the 29th of February). But having either of them come up is still better than having a particular game system that broke because it wasn't a leap year o_O

Anyway, Happy belated Ross, sorry I missed the actual non-existent date xD

Thing is though, you're all saying "he's only 5" or whatever.

NO! He's been on this world for 22 years, thus he is 22 years old. (or however many {Tongue Out} ). He has had 5 Birthdays. There is a difference! A big difference.

If you want to be technical, he's only had one birthday. We say "celebrating someone's birthday" because that's what we're doing. We're celebrating the day that person was born. So we've all only had one birthday. {Wink}

Indeed, but people were stating how old he was, not how many birthdays he'd had! {Smile}

Don't worry, Rossy; you've still got years and years ahead of you! {Smile}

On a separate and completely unrelated to your age kind of note, have you written your will yet? Am I in it? {Wink}
