Hey Nick, for someone who has duel monitors, how do you make it so it only takes a screenshot of 1 monitor?

Dunno but try ALT + Prnt scrn. It will take a screen shot of the screen that the mouse is focused on I guess. Never tried it. I just cropped it out. {Tongue Out} But seeing as I have Ubuntu, I have no clue how to Dual screen at the moment. I can, but I can't find a way. {Tongue Out}

Thanks. {Smile} But now I am stuck on Windows XP for right now, so I installed a theme pack that has Leopard in it, so I'm using that as the interface, but it's not the same. {Unsure}

I prefer OpenOffice.org. {Tongue Out} and yeah. That is true. I'm actually liking the look of OS X Snow Leopard. It's slick, cool, and graphically amazing, as well as Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. {Grin}

Trader! Macs suck, their software sucks... and so does linux distros... it's all just eye candy.

If you want to get stuff done you should use PC's and use Windows software!

(You do realize that I don't care about spending money on MS; it is a LOT more worth it than a Mac or wasting my valuable time on linux.)

Allow me to tell you sometime how many ways in which you are wrong.

I really do hope that you've extensively used both Macs and Linux before making such a statement.

Re: Post your desktop (9th Dec 09 at 10:14am UTC)
Be my guest Graham. MS and Windows software are my idols, nothing will change that.

If Linux and Mac agree on universal drivers, hardware, and software. I'd have a different state of mind thoughts.

But nope, there is hardly any hardware support for anything on the market for Linux and Mac has so many loop poles and rules that it's hardly worth the money to buy Mac and not to mention absolutely no software or hardware support or cross compatibility.

Until that day comes when I can do anything I want to on Linux and I can do anything to a Mac both hardware and software wise, I'm sticking to Windows.

Ok, ok, some of you are going to tell me what if I lose interest in Windows or they lose market power and I had to pick someone else. I hate to say against my own hate-rid towards Macs, I would choose them. Only because they have the slightest silver of cross compatibility. But I would not be a happy guy due to the fact that I can't do what I love to do best, build computers.

I've used Linux for 2 weeks (Would be longer if it weren't for the fact of the DVD failing on me and Toshiba not fixing it when I asked them to before my warranty was up.) But the driver support for Ubuntu on my laptop, was great, my video card worked, it installed my ATI RADEON X1200 Drivers, Realtek wireless drivers, Realtek HD Audio Sound drivers, just fine. I had everything I could need, I had no issues with windows programs as WINE came in good hands, but I hardly needed any windows programs because what ever Windows has, Linux had their own version. On the 'other' forum hosting service, there was a huge debate on Windows vs Linux and Apple, and I found allot of good info about Apple that I didn't know. Like it IS compatible with many things, and a few other stuff.
