ive downloaded instrumental songs before, I have one now, that I remixed with another song. I just wanted to know if Audacity could remove the voice. Here is my remixed song along with the original: Its Rap Soulja Boy - iDance (original) Soulja Boy - iDance (remix)

And of course im not doing anything illegal I pay for my P2P downloader (limewire) in which case is not illegal anyways.

paying for a p2p downloader that is used for illegal downloading of music does not make piracy right. How is it pirated? The song iDance is from Soulja Boy's Official MySpace. and the background sound of the remix is something my friend made and thats were I downloaded it from.

The song may be available for download at the artist's myspace but it is still copyrighted to his record label. Remixing the track (in whatever fashion) and making it available (where it is redistributable) in public amounts to piracy.
