pmmsn | | Rant (8th Mar 08 at 4:51am UTC) | | Ok, so my birthday is on Monday, and the only thing i'm asking for is a laptop, no money, no new phone, just a laptop.
Well my current [desktop] computer, is friggin old as hell, and takes forever to load, and my mom tells me i'm prob not gonna get a laptop. Why? because of the price.
We just got back from BB (Best Buy) and I found a laptop with a reasonable price:500$ and it was a pretty good, new laptop. Having a laptop would be easier for me, since my current computer is upstairs where theres no TV or anything eles to do.
Looks like i'm stuck with this ancient damn computer. | |

Its a Compaq very nice, very slick looking, and its Vista home premium, the Acer is the same price, but the Compaq took its place/price ^_^, and the Acer was Vista Basic. So I really can't wait for it. ^_^  | |

Plus, a laptop would help be more mobile while on the computer.
My mom's computer is getting to the point where it can't live up to the quality either. Its all basically ancient software. | |

I'm running on a laptop, and I personally enjoy them better than desktops although the next computer I'm buying is going to be a gaming computer.
Laptops are nice and they are competing with desktops a lot now, but its hard to compare it with some of the things a gaming desktop can do in my opinion. You can pack a laptop with the stuff to game, but it becomes a big laptop. | |
