pmwwwmsngtalk vForum | | Server Migration (12th Dec 08 at 6:13am EST) | | Due to some issues we have been experiencing with our primary forum server we will shortly be transferring all data to a new machine.
I'm hoping that downtime will be minimal. In the event that after the transfer there is anything missing (posts, pms etc.) then please let me know so I can retrieve it from the old server.
During the transfer some forums may load a little slowly but once we point everything to the new server full speed will be resumed.

Which forum was that?
The data center cloned the server a little over an hour ago, unfortunately it has taken me a little time to get everything else setup on it. So what I'm doing is just switching the database connections for all the forums which have not had anything new added to them over the past hour (boards, categories, posts, pms, users). | |

Just got a dedicated server so i'm setting my game up for alpha testing. BUt kind of hot on the topic to so speak. The software didn't say that the dedicated server had to be running a windows based setup so I could run exe files...so I had the host install linux and cpanel, so i;m trying to figure out how i cna run the exe files so that i can get the game client to connect to the database...
