There's nothing wrong with his account as I just logged into it and could modify the profile with no problems. Get him to check that he's not viewing the forum with the www. portion in the URL.

Hey Ross, why not put an auto-redirect in the .htaccess file to auto-remove the www.?

The only reason the www. could cause an issue would be if the link to the view profile page was hard coded in (in the header/footer) and forced the URL with either the www. portion or without it.

tell him to add:
noheaders/1

to the end of the URL to modify... tell us if that works.
