Problem: Okay I'm currently working on some new skins for my forum, but for some reason I can only see the banner on one of the skins (Carpe Noctum). And I have tried various things, but nothing seems to help and now I just can't see what I'm suppose to do to make the banners show up. Any clues on what I've messed up in then please do tell, cause I can't see it. Thanks.
And another question is there a reason why vForum goes down a lot lately?

It could be the word "banner" in the filename of the image you are trying to use which is stopping it from showing up. Many anti-virus/anti-banner programs will block images with that word in their URL.
As for downtime. We had a few issues last week where some new software was being installed on the main server which had some teething issues - but only had a few seconds downtime at a time. We also had the main server get overloaded last night which caused a few minutes downtime (about 10 minutes if I remember correctly). I wouldn't say we've really had a lot of downtime, perhaps you've just been very unlucky when trying to access things. Unless there is something else you're referring to which I'm not aware of?

As for the downtime, then there were a couple of times where the forums were down for hours at the time, so I was just wondering......

Where abouts on the page do you want the banner image to display? ie. Above or below the menu?

pmwww | Re: Banner problem (25th Oct 11 at 8:26pm UTC) | | Do you have an external CSS working with the banners on each skin? The reason why I ask is because I see this. "<center id="ah">"
I also see "<center></center>" at the beginning of it just for the sake, clean it up.
BUT when i put it on my test forum it shows just fine. http://dmtesting.vforums.co.uk/
You must have a conflicting code. Or if you use CSS, maybe some thing is causing it.

The floating menu code I have in, does it so the banner only shows on the Carpe Noctum skin. So is there a way I can make it work, move the floating menu code somewhere else in the global footers or what? Otherwise I'll just remove the floating menu code if it is.
