Problem: I have some boards closed off from the guests where I don't want them to see the post, but I think this causes a problem. Someone told me they can see the Japanese Language category, but they can't see the Japanese Language board. Guests will assume that board isn't there. I don't want the guests to see the posts, but it'd be nice for them to see Japanese 101 where maybe they can see how many posts the board has, but can't view the actual threads. Some forums I do want guests to see (the actual threads), but not participate in. | |

If you want guests to see that it exists (but not access it) then set that option to "Always". That ensures the board is always shown regardless of if the member can view inside it or not  | |

It occurs when there's some conflicts in the settings for categories and boards. I've changed a few setting on your forum which makes the board viewable to anyone but only accessible by members | |
