website/VF/frame (9th Mar 08 at 2:04am UTC)
?
http://freunion.co.nr

I was wandering since my website is 'frames' is it alright if Vforums is in a frame, because when I click on 'Forum' in my website it keeps the right frame, and on the left frame it has http://freunion.vforums.co.uk.

Click the picture, then when the page loads up, click "Forum" and you will see what I mean.

Will this break any ToS?

Thanks,
Darkmage

I believe this is not allowed, as it defeats the purpose of the domain hosting feature.

However, as I'm not 100% sure, we'll wait to see what Ross says.

Only VF does it, I had PB in the frame, but PB killed the frame, and put the full forum, so did Invision.

EDIT: thats why I am trying a new way of having my site a different design, but I am having troubles with the tables {Unsure}

I know that, but if everyone just put their forum in a frame on their site, then Ross would lose money as no one would use the Domain Hosting, which gains him a profit. {Wink}

I think the only reason why it is in a frame is because of .co.nr I will try the original freewebs link.

EDIT: nope using the original link, is also showing frames.

It's in a frame because you have the target of the "Forum" link set to that frame, rather than "top". {Wink}

In your navigation menu, for the forum link, you'll see something like this:

<a href="http://freunion.vforums.co.uk" target="_parent">Forum</a>

Change _parent to _top. {Wink}

Actually, I didn't have a close enough look at your coding.

Rather than linking to forum.html, link directly to your forum. {Smile}

Well I am changing the design anyways, I am done with frames {Tongue Out} , so annoying.

Thats why I need help, in my new design, as tables, are not my strong point, in HTML, Fru fru is helping me on that part.

Just for clarification, forums should not be loaded within frames because of issues this causes with cookies not being properly set and as such users having problems staying logged in.
