Admin Creating Accounts (21st May 09 at 5:44am UTC)
OK I love this feature in many forums and it makes things easier when a forum is set to private or in maintenance mode, but if you don't understand the name, what i am talking about is adding an area in the admin panel where the main admin can create use accounts where they can set the users password and username, and email address and from there the user can login.

LikeĀ  said though. I love vforums because of how nice it is, but its not exactly the best to use for professional use unlike a vB or a SMF because you can't close the forum if neded and still have full controls of the members you WANT to take part in the forum without opening the forum to the public, which i find a pain to do when it would just be quicker to allow the amdin to create the account. Adding this would allow it to work great as a private Staff forum for companies and stuff {Wink} making it more appealing to many.

When registrations are disabled, staff members have the "register" button appear in the main menu. This lets them still use the registration form. Or there's the pending members feature to allow members to register themselves and then just be approved by a member of staff.

I don't see what this would add that cannot already be achieved using one of those methods? {Confused}

I'm talking about being able to add accounts when ever (Via an area in the admin panel). To be honest i didn't know that the register button shows up when registration is disabled.
