I think an interesting idea would be to have a DHTML or Flash tutorial for people new to creating forums.. to show them the basics.

That wouldnt be a bad idea, they have that on ProBoards, so its definitely something that should be considered.
However, people can always come to this support board and look at the guide on how to use the forum {Smile}

Another thing I'd like to mention is some of people reasons for suggesting things. Yes, your suggestion may be "cool" or done by other providers but that doesn't make it a valid reason for being implemented here. I'd like to hear about how it'd help you or your members.

Just because proboards has it doesn't mean that we shoul.d

that may be true but yet at the same vforums its very complex in some areas so it would be helpful for those people that haven't used a forum system.

This is the Support forum for your Virtual Forum, this is the place where you can ask help if you are having issues of your forum, its also a place to get coding, and to talk to other members about many things like in the General board.

If you do not have a forum go to http://virtualforums.co.uk/signup and you can easily create a forum, and also if you do not want to make a forum, but want to join a forum go here http://virtualforums.co.uk/directory/view/all/ord/cat this link will send you to the Directory of the forums that users have created, there are allot of cool, and neat looking forums here. If you have any questions either ask in the support board, or PM a staff member.

Actually I think this would be a good idea too, to help the New members out.

I believe it's the United States Air Force, but regardless, this isn't the place for it.

DarkHalo, feel free to introduce yourself in the Welcome board, and ask any questions you may have in the Support board. {Smile}
