Smilies (31st Dec 07 at 5:13pm UTC)
When starting a new line in a reply, if you use a smily then it won't show properly. However, if you add a space before, it will.

For example:

Without a space:
{Tongue Out}

With a space:
{Tongue Out}

It's not a big thing, but it could get frustrating.

That's only some of the smilies I have noticed..

and yes it is frustrating, when you start a post with a smiley... {Sad}

Smilies have always needed a space before them; what am I missing? {Tongue Out}

They should all work at the start of lines as of the next update.

As soon as possible. I've been working on getting the duplicate post ID bug fixed by rewriting most of the posting and moderation systems. I've not got many more bits to finish off on that. Then I'll try and finish the announcement feature and multi-topic moderation features as well as a few other bug fixes before next year. So if everything goes to plan, it should only take a few hours.

Haha, "before next year"...that's what I said to my parents when I got out of the shower this morning...I said "I've made a decision. I refuse to take another shower until next year." {Tongue Out}

Actually, I still have another thing to add. {Wink}

Don't forget to also check if the smiley appears directly after a [quote] tag. {Wink} Otherwise if someone puts a smiley at the very start of their post, then their post is quoted, it won't show the smiley.

The way I've set it up, the smiley will appear if it comes directly after a new line, a UBBC tag or a space.
