I need a rate on the skin, nothing else. It is still being built. But I am 95% done with it. The last 5% is for Coding, and topics.

pmwww | Re: PSP® Forums (22nd Jan 08 at 2:01am UTC) | | It's a good start, but a few things I noticed:
The blue links are hard to read; possibly make them a different shade?
Also, the background of the banner is a bit plain; possibly add some more brushing or some layered effects there?
Third is the menu bar; it doesn't match the rest of the site. Not sure of what to do there, but something that makes it flow more evenly would be nice.
The last thing I'll post about is that you don't have head/base images. Adding those would be a good addition.

pmwww | Re: PSP® Forums (22nd Jan 08 at 2:28am UTC) | | Thanks for the rate. I have changed the blue links, and gave it head/base img, I did have Grads there. But this looks a bit better now. The banner is supposed to be like that, its not really an artsy forum, more like general PSP gaming, If you want you can edit it for me, Im just to lazy right now, to fix it up. I have so much going on right now, between all my forums I am trying to maintain.
Thanks again.

pmaim | Re: PSP® Forums (22nd Jan 08 at 4:24am UTC) | | Hello ,
The large banner is very welcoming, and I like how you have the PSP nice and big to promote the theme of the forum. I really like the banner, you did a nice job on it.
The gradients are nice, though a bit busy, I like them. The menu button's background doesn't flow seamlessly with the gradient, but it still looks good.
I like the HTML table that you have which explains the general idea behind the forum, and I like how it is the width of your boards. The board gradients are nice, though I do advise changing the link color to maybe a light gray. It would show up but still be within your color scheme. The on/off icons are nice, but I think it would be better if you erased the PSP from the center of the circles, just because I think it would be more elegant, and all of those who have a PSP know the silver circle.
Overall, very nice. The only thing I advise changing is the link color to a light gray, and erasing the PSP from the center of the on/off icons. Your forum has a nice color scheme and looks pretty advanced.

I have an Idea for the banner if your willing to do a little work if not I might have myself a go at it, You can add .mov clips to images in ImageReady making them .gif (as Im sure you already know you owning a design board and everything.) you could make a opening video putting clips of hit PSP games, your logo, your url, etc. and add the movie as a layer under the PSP screen making your logo in my opinion pretty cool. I had the concept and was going to do something like this for my website as well but I new got around to making the video. Another Idea with the same concept would be to make a few of these type banners using different game trailers (easily found on Youtube) and then using the image randomizer to combine the image and/or use a different banners on on different boards code to get the same effect. This is just an idea I had when I saw your Banner.

I had a 10 second video clip from a Spider-Man trailer in a sig I made once, and every site I placed it in lagged like crazy. Yes, they're good additions to get rates on, but not as something that appears on every page.
