Oh... Then your missing out...   Its quite fun to run your own forum, its feels like its your own world, and you can do anything you want (To an extent) you can make it into a personal board like blogs, or something that interests you, and if other people are interested in your forum, they may join. Seeing members join your forum feels really good.
I know 6 years ago, I got about 400 members within 2 years, and I had over 12,000 posts. But eventually it died because it was my very first forum, and I really did not know what a forum was, But I had staff members help me out. But then I shut it down within 4 years, then when vF opened up last November I moved every single last forum I had to vForums.
Now allot of the sites I did move over here I eventually deleted it, because I had at least 15 forums to move over, and did not feel like running that much. So now I have at least 7 forums that I kept. | |
