pmwww | | vForums (17th Feb 08 at 7:06pm UTC) | | I've just been wondering about this; what is the one main thing that made you stay at vForums? Was there one deciding factor to it?
Personally, for me, it wasn't the easy-to-use features, or all the customization options; I don't even have my own vForum other than for testing codes.
For me it was more the atmosphere here; it just seems like more of a small-town community, where everyone knows everyone. That's one of the good things about joining a forum system early on; it's much easier to keep up with the new faces.

Well let's be honest. It's not your ugly face keeping me here!
...
It's so easy to code for... Ids for most things is awesome. So yeah, the ease of customisation. Also, the fact that anything is possible. vF has done away with stupid TOS on codes. But has kept the real ones that matter.
Also. There are more features that people want and need than you can shake a stick at!
Also, I'm staff, I can't quit now... can I?

With ProBoards, your suggestions get shot down, and maybe 5% are taken. It's too big for any ideas to really get through to the people who have the power to use them.
Here, it's nice and small, and very quick to give its users what they want. The suggestions are more of the 95% taken, 5% rejected group, and the people with the power to make things happen are accessible.

And it also gives you more customization options which I like. With that, its just as easy (if not easier) to use than Proboards.
Re-host any pictures or buttons that I make for you if needed.
