Wow. A lot of differences. Most guys I know...well all of them I met in real life wear their wallet in their back pocket. The girls usually have a purse or some type of smaller wallet in their front pocket. But all the guys were the same so far. xD. I used to use a side pocket when I was like 14/15 when all my pants had them. When I was 16/17 I stopped growing in height and everything else (stunt growth) and my wardrope changed to be more mature and slacks (family insisted, at least they finally learned that I prefer slacks xD) so back pocket became common. I need to get used to this new wallet. My last wallet was really flat but this wallet is like so thick.
