pmwww | Take a break! (16th Oct 12 at 5:17am UTC) | | Take a break from life and talk! What have you been up to? Where have you been? and most importantly, how are you?
I have not been doing much lately. Sleeping and video games for now until I can get my lazy but up and get a job. I've been here and there but mainly as I said above, and I have been doing great, happy for the most part. Fallen in love yet again, but gonna take this one REEEEAAAAALLLLL slow. She's in college and wants to finish her last year and a half, and then her career then hopefully we'll be living together. Don't know what will happen in 2 years, just taking it day by day right now. But other than that, the only highlight of my night is in 4 hours of this most Minecraft for the 360 will be updated, and I wont be online as much as I used to.

pmwww | Re: Take a break! (17th Oct 12 at 5:14pm UTC) | | If i'm honest Nick, you're not in love - it's lust at best.
I was made redundant from my old job about a month ago (the place was taken over by a bunch of clueless buffoons) so i'm on the hunt for something. Been doing some freelance work and setting my business up, but also waiting on some permanent places to get back to me...though they're dragging their heels, so i might not bother with them.
Other than that, i've been keeping myself busy...found myself collecting N64 games and accessories more recently, which has been great but i just need to cap my spending

Oh dear :-( Unfortunately that happens far too often.
Surrey too far away for you?

pmwww | Re: Take a break! (20th Oct 12 at 3:59pm UTC) | | Lots has been going on for me recently!
Let's start with work life...
At the moment I'm working for two companies; one is the same company I worked at a few years ago, the other is a company that sells sports cards and memorabilia (who knew there was still a market for it?)
I'm a Senior Web Platform Engineer for the one (technically I'm still the CTO, but for whatever reason that title can apparently hurt my résumé more than it helps it, so I changed my title) -- they own a chain of online retail stores that sell everything from snowshoes to go-karts to infrared saunas. When I returned from post-secondary education this past summer, the owner actually called me and asked if I would be willing to come back to work for them.
For the sports company, I work as their Marketing Director; designing web and print ads, managing social media campaigns, planning short-term and long-term marketing strategies, etc. The owner of this company also asked me if I would be willing to work for them as opposed to me applying, haha.
I'm currently doing some freelance work on the side, as well. At the moment I'm a consultant for a web design firm located a few hours north of the city I live in, as well as having one website currently in development for another client. As well, I've gotten into an area that I never really expected to, but I've (so far) been hired by two companies to set up basic security systems (as in, video surveillance) for their businesses.
Lastly for work, I've also been in the process (for quite a while now) of developing a remote server monitoring service as a personal business venture. It's been a busy year or two, so I haven't been able to focus as much attention as I would like on it, but I have been able to get it to a point where it's now open for public BETA testing, so it's coming along.
Personal life has been just as busy!
As stated above, I completed my first round of post-secondary education earlier this year, and moved back home for the time being. My summer was extremely busy, lining up work and making trips all over Ontario literally every weekend.
Probably the most exciting news in my personal life, however, is that my girlfriend and I got engaged just under two months ago! So now what little free time I used to have seems to be filled with wedding planning and house hunting, haha.
Needless to say, I seem to be in a busy stage of life right now...but loving it!

pmwww | Re: Take a break! (21st Oct 12 at 6:31am UTC) | | Graham - My ex was lust the more I think about it. BUT the sad thing was before her I was a virgin, sooo yeah, Maybe I was in love with the idea of being in love? I don't know. But I do know what love feels like. Or at least the equivalent to love. Someone that makes you happy and you make them happy, and satisfied (No not by sex) and enjoying each other. That's what I was trying to do, but it all fell apart once we moved in with each other. That's where the down fall went. Her true colours started to show.
Ross - What type of busy are we talking about? Work busy, or OMG! AHHH! busy?
Marc - Wow. You sound more busier than Ross here with his busy. Haha.
Other than that, I've been playing a whole week of Minecraft, I'll create a new thread later and show some of my creations. Which are quite awesome!

I'll take most things at the moment I could work remotely?
Marc: That's a lot of work dude - where do you find the time? Congrats on the marriage

I work nights at my new job myself. I like nights, makes the week go faster.
Other than that, my days have been about average.

Let's just say the term "downtime" doesn't really mean anything to me at this point.
And thanks, Grahamy! ^_^

My day is going pretty good so far got most of my homework finished and a big test that I think I did great on. I'm currently in college in the Electrical Engineering major and it's proving to be quite difficult. I ended up studying 20+ hours for that test that I just finished today...
