 lol yeah, I tried working on it last night. But it still comes up with that error. {Tongue Out}

Glad to hear it {Smile}

 Thanks Ross! {Smile} Now I am having problems with it though... {Sad} stupid Windows Update is not working right, and my touch pad mouse is not working.... It worked all night last night, then I get on it a few hours ago after I get back from work, and the mouse would not move, so now I have my wireless mouse attached, until I can figure out whats happening {Unsure}

I figured I'd just steal half your thread than make my own. {Tongue Out}

My laptop was finally repaired and returned today, so I once again have 24/7 internet access (and my music. {Grin} )

They also fixed quite a few smaller problems I was having with it on top of the whole not starting thing. {Tongue Out}

Ohh, and they cleaned it; something that was looong overdue. {Grin}

Oh cool.

Well my touch pad is broken.... I don't know how, it was working just fine when I got it. Then the next day, it just stopped working... {Sad} At least I have a wireless mouse. But still I would like to use the touch pad....  I have all the updates for it too! {Unsure}

I guess I was not destined for a "Perfect" computer... {Unsure}

and yeah they cleaned mine up too. Only the screen though. The new keyboard is clean of course. {Tongue Out} But I still have scratches and a small crack on the monitor...

Toshiba A215-S5808 Satellite series.

edit:

I guess I don't have all updates... the Synaptics PS/2 TouchPad  will not install, it says it failed. I tried again 4 other times, and it all said failed..

Yeah so It finally installed, but the touch pad still does not work. I am thinking a wire disconnected. It's to late for me to send it out now. Monday is the end date of my warranty, so either I have to fix it. (Which I don't know how to get the case off, I tried before, but that's how I messed up the D drive.)

@ Fru Fru: The only reason why it got lagy is because of Reg files, Temp files, etc. If you don't have a Utility that cleans all that up then your computer will get lagy. I now have Glary Utilites (I bought it because it's AWESOME! the only thing that is disabled on it is auto clean, but if you buy it, you have auto clean.)  so that clear's up allot of stuff, You'd be surprised on how much Reg files get moved arround allot. When I got my computer back, and everything uninstalled/installed etc, about 200-300 reg keys were missing, etc. It also keeps the Hard Drive clean and removes junk that does not need to be there like Temp files.

 Actually I tried Glary Utilities and it really didn't make a noticable difference even thought it says it fixed like 1800 registry problems (& did a defrag). Oh well. Maybe at that point it was just a bit too messy or something {Tongue Out}

{Shocked} It didn't work! O_o Possible Virus? {Tongue Out}

But anyways I'm thinking of getting a new computer later. Possibly from Dell, and it's going to be a Linux OS.

Then later on, I am wanting to get a 64 bit Vista Business with 10Gb of RAM and 2TB HDD! {Grin}

But that will take awhile to get {Tongue Out}
