Lost Cellphone (6th Feb 09 at 9:44pm UTC)
Well, seems that I dropped my cellphone getting out of my brother's car this morning. I asked the office at the end of the day, but no one had turned it in.

So I got home, and contacted my cellphone provider. My phone has a GPS feature, which I always have turned on. However, for some illogical reason, the GPS service that my provider offers does not work with my phone (despite the phone having the software).

So now I had to suspend the line so no one can make calls and rack up my bill. I have contacted someone nearby through Kijiji about a phone they're selling, and unless the phone turns up on Monday, it looks like I'm out $60 for another phone.

Anyone else ever have a similar experience?

*texts you* oh wait... {Tongue Out}
So have you tried calling it? Are your contact details on the phone?

And to answer the question, no, I haven't lost my phone, but last year I did pick up someone else's (and a pretty fancy one at that) in the snow. Their other phone number was on there so I called and arranged to drop it off.

Anyway, hope it turns up soon {Smile}

P.S. So I searched the support forum of a certain other forum provider for advice regarding lost phones, and guess whose thread I found {Grin}

Funny thing is that I've have lost my LG chocolate. Well not really, it's somewhere in my room I think but really can't find it. I've tried calling it but this time I forgot to charge the phone so it isn't ringing.

I guess you can say I misplaced it.

I lost my phone once. I found it two days later in the freezer. XD. I must've put it in the box of cookies I had. I bought like twelve dozen of giant cookies like five inches in diameter each XD.

LMAO!!! XD That's funny XP

To answer the question. Yes, but it was only a couple hours. I dropped it at a store, and someone turned it in at the front desk. But the store turned my phone off. So we went back and described the phone. Few days later I got a new one {Tongue Out}
