pmskypemsnyahoo | I feel bad for my kid brother. (26th Jul 08 at 10:39pm UTC) | | So, my dad went home for the weekend. Oops, he forgot his youngest kid at his apartment where he works. So now, I'm about to go pick up my kid brother just because my dad forgot him and doesn't want to drive two hours back to his work town to pick him up.
My little brother has been coming over to my apartment all week to eat, and use a computer. I feel bad for the kid. . My dad is brilliant, and everything, but he thinks my stepmom will pick up my kid brother, and she doesn't. I don't trust her with anything.
So yet again, another weekend stuck with my ten year old brother. >_>.
I am so not paying for his backpack, school supplies, lunches, and school uniforms again though.

My dad has been under a lot of stress this week. His work asked him to move to Tampa, Florida. He has an state audit coming up, a federal audit, an IRS audit and a company audit all coming up since he is the General Manager of Arvin Housing.
My step mom is another story. But she was able to get mine and my brother's names on the top doctors in the entire area's patient list because she works in radiology.

How would your little brother feel about being forgotten? That's pretty devastating for any child even if they aren't forgotten, but forgotten that their parents would be right back, if the kid forgets, it's still shocking to find that they have no parent to look after them, their immovable object of permanence.

My dad thinks my step brother Jared is most likely there when Jared is never there, so hence, left behind. As Sven said, my dad shouldn't leave him behind no matter how stress he is. Nobody should ever forget the kids. =/.
They may be annoying as hell, but, hell, it's your kid. My little brother is a major brat now. He grew up with a lot of attention, always going to work with my dad, being in the office, going to restaurants all the time. Now my dad's new job doesn't want the kid in the office because it is a place of business. I cannot blame the company though. My dad likes the job because it is one he has been looking for, for a long time.
