I personally used Neo (no longer available) Konquerer, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Netscape, AOL Explorer, Epiphany, Lynx, Seamonkey, OmniWeb, Amaya, Maxthon, Shiira and K-Meleon. Surprisingly vForums works in all of the ones I tried except lynx (text only). Other forum providers only work for probably FF and IE; sometimes Opera.

There are several other types of webbrowsers that I know of but haven't tried such as e-Capsule, iCab, Mozilla (not Firefox), Voyager, Cyberdog, AWeb, PowerBrowser, SlipKnot (I haven't seen this in a while), IBM orignal, MacWeb, and Cello.

It's a browser.

My favorite web browser is honestly, Opera, because when I code something it's easy to get to work in the browser. Opera has a long history of being the safest webbrowser by poll testing due to there are very few security flaws. However, due to my favorite sites made for Firefox I'm forced to use it. I even visited sites that block non FF users.

I love FF {Tongue Out} Though I'm forced to use others, I don't like IE at all - but I still use it to check compatibilities and stuff. I think out of all the ones I've tried, FF is my favourite. While it may not be the most secure, I find it the easiest to work my way around and more user friendly as more websites are designed for FF and IE than Opera.

Its also a band {Wink} http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SlipKnot
How do sites block FF? I do not understand that. I only use FF, for well everything. I use the others the most major browsers for compatibility issues for my sites.

I said non FF users.

Like this JavaScript code blocks IE users:

Code:

  1. <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1;
  2. URL=http://www.domain.com/realhomepage.html">
  3. <script>
  4. if (navigator.appName == "Microsoft Internet Explorer") {
  5. document.location = "http://www.WEBSITE/IHATEIE.php";
  6. } else {
  7. document.location = "http://www.WEBSITE.com/realindex.php";
  8. }
  9. </script>
  10.

Different browsers parse code differently, and sites may not work properly in certain browsers when people don't take the time to code accordingly.

There are some sites that DO block FF, it annoyed me greatly as it was a games website as well {Sad} Not that it matters, I just had to use IE.

Also, last I checked IJJI still had FF blocked (though I haven't visited them in like 9 months or so).

I've been playing games from IJJI for about two years now, and not once have they blocked FF for me... {Unsure}
