What I don't get is , if its hot and sunny, why are you inside on your computers/laptops? Like here in the UK it mostly everyday so we don't really have a choice. I've been to florida and if i lived there i'd never be inside

Have a look at the times of my posts. Either late at night, just after school - dinner, and that's it. {Tongue Out}

I've hardly been home this past week.

But your body's still more used to the hot weather because it's almost always above-freezing temperatures [had to look that up on a US Country Studies site. {Tongue Out} ], where mine was used to a -25 winter, -5 spring, then out of nowhere here comes a 42 degree summer. {Tongue Out}

42!!! Your lucky.. It comes 100 for me. It get's so humid. {Sad}

If you hadn't noticed, I live in Canada, and as such am speaking about Celcius. {Tongue Out}

I live close to Canada. {Tongue Out} I should get the same temp

You were talking in terms of Fahrenheit, I was talking in terms of Celcius. 42 degrees Celcius is 108 degrees Fahrenheit. {Unsure}

At the temperature it is here you can go outside for about 30 minutes and be dying already.

Its in the upper 90's in North Carolina, and I'm already tired of it {Tongue Out} The air conditioner in my car doesn't work, so I have to put the top down and hope to catch a breeze >.>

That weather is cool. I spent a few days in St. George hit 104 degrees F. >< o_o. Down here in Bakersfield we're starting to hit the 90s.

It's starting to rain a little more. We're in the low 90s but after the rain it's probably going to get extremely hot.

I lost power for about 36 hours two days ago due to everyone using their AC and it like burnt out the transformers. Was 100 degrees Fahrenheit for alot of the time without the AC. I was toasting.

Need a Sig?

The temperature's gone down quite a bit now; it was just a heat wave for that week. Now we're getting lots of thunderstorms and cooler weather [low 20's]. {Smile}

Re: Really Hot (14th Jun 08 at 2:14am UTC)
Well, in the past week, we hit the 90°F mark in the past week, and my house does not have air conditioning. Places north of me hit the 100°F.

But today we had about 82°F. Right now it is about 76°F, with thunderstorms in the area. (Severe T'storm warning right now).

EDIT June 16, 2008
A big clap of thunder just scared me (I even had headphones on listening to music!). I looked at my weather forecast, and it is looking good for me this week.
http://img364.imageshack.us/my.php?image=weather61608eu6.jpg
Right now, the special weather statement states:
Quote:
WIND GUSTS OF 35 TO 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS CLUSTER AS IS SOME SMALL HAIL. WIND GUSTS OF THIS MAGNITUDE MAY DOWN SOME TREE BRANCHES.

MOVE TO A SAFE PLACE IF THUNDERSTORMS APPROACH.
