I hate it when people cross their sevens. It seems to be getting more widespread in England. Crossing the number seven is mainly a French, Italian and perhaps German thing where their 1s have a long loop, so crossing the 7 differentiates it more from a 1. Why are people taught to do it here ? Another annoyance is people that show the Union Jack upside down and are oblivious to the fact. Final annoyance is the term "Train Station". It's a bloody "Railway Station". Get it !
