pm | | vForums is no longer on Wikipedia (13th Apr 08 at 3:02am UTC) | | I logged into Wikipedia just a few minutes ago and received a message that vForums was tagged for speedy deletion, and by time I got to the talk page to contest it, it was gone
They said that it needed more content, so if someone wants to add stuff to it, I can have an admin email me the content, then we can put it back up, but I really don't care enough to do it

pm | | Re: vForums is no longer on Wikipedia (13th Apr 08 at 2:42pm UTC) | | | Ok, I contacted the admin that deleted it to have it emailed to me. It needs to be worked on in a userspace, then transferred back to the original page. If you don't have an account, I can set up a space for you to work on it.

pmskypemsnyahoo | | Re: vForums is no longer on Wikipedia (16th Apr 08 at 9:56am UTC) | | Use the {{stub}} template on WikiPedia. Most Wiki communities mainly care about your citations and sources. A person dedicated to a community is not allowed to write about themselves. So, use a backlink like http://aboutus.org/virtualforums.co.uk . WikiPedia doesn't like you to cite the main site/organization you are originally writing about in the first place.
WikiPedia does have an odd community. Trust me, I seen both ends, and it has no real community, it's just an information source, nothing more. That is why citations are so important to them, they are not based upon RadicalTrust or user input, they'd prefer expert/professional input.
Do you have a domain? .com , .net? Etc, write an article about VirtualForums then use it as a backlink. Ask Ross or other staff questions, quote and cite it. Most citations are circles, but they DO WORK. So, Crow has a good standing site, write an article about VirtualForums, use something in it on the WikiPedia page and use it as a citation. Trust me, I know things about WikiPedia you don't want to know.
Do the same with others. More people that write unique interviews and articles about vForums, the better pagerank vForum gets, and yet, you have more sources to draw from to make your WikiPedia page standing. Be careful in the wiki territory. If you have any questions, feel free to ask your local expert. :].
Wiki is a wonderful world of technology, and a multi several hundred million dollar business relation now. Wiki technology is taken very seriously.
