Happy Pi Day! {Grin} {Grin} {Grin}

How many digits of pi do you know? Personally I only know the first 5 or so, as it's all you'll ever really need. {Tongue Out}

What use is it that they have a supercomputer endlessly calculating the digits of Pi? They're in the billions now; what's the point? Do they think finding where it starts repeating is going to make a difference in our calculations?

You're never going to see on a Math test:

d*pi = 39.7
d*3.14 = 39.7 - Billy, where are the other 5 billion digits of Pi?!? 0 marks.
d = 5.2

{Confused} {Tongue Out}

My math teacher gave us a really gay worksheet on it. I know 3.14, and I don't care about the rest {Tongue Out}

Mmmm, the pie's we made in food service was really really really good, we made about $249.9 and all the pie we made was gone within 3 lunches. So I guess pi day is nationally, and internationally. Cool. {Grin}

According to my Math teacher, every week has a Pi day; he brings in pies every Thursday, it's great. {Grin}
