Optional "Who's Online" Feature Implemented | | Over the past couple of hours a few changes have been made to all forums on our network. The most interesting of these is the addition of a "Who's Online" page. This page gives a rough idea of who is currently online & what they are doing. It does not give any specifics such as what topic they are reading. For example, while reading this it would show your activity as "Viewing Topic in Announcements"
We understand that not everybody would want to be listed in this way which is why we've also made some changes to the modify profile page. The "Stay Invisible" option has been reworded and now has the choice to "Hide Activity". This new option will stop you showing up on the who's where page but still show you as being online in the info center and your mini-profile.
At the moment this new page is not linked to from anywhere. Sometime over the next few days anyone using the default info-center will have the link automatically added in the same position as we are using on here. You will be able to remove this afterwards if you do not wish to have the feature on your forum.
Alternatively, you can add the link to this page yourself anywhere within the info-center template. To do this, go to your "Admin Panel", then the "Manage Templates" page. Choose the Info Center you wish to add the link to and add this HTML where you want it to appear:
