MacBook = Purchased. (22nd Nov 10 at 4:07am UTC)
Right, so, I was planning on heading over to an Apple Store probably Tuesday to buy myself a sexy new MacBook, but while browsing Apple's website today, I stumbled across something incredible...the Apple Education Store.

I called them up to ask some questions, and it turns out that they give sweet student discounts. 15 minutes later, I had received an order confirmation by email. {Tongue Out}

At the end of the day I saved about 15%, which is definitely a lot considering discounts don't really exist with Apple, haha.

Anyway, it should arrive by the end of the week, or maybe next Monday depending on how many are being shipped out (what with Christmas being just around the corner), so I'll get some pictures up when I get it.

To summarize this topic...YAYYYYYY!!! {Grin}

Hehe, yeah, I can't wait until I get it.

My total after tax with the discounts was less than my total before tax before the discount. I ended up getting AppleCare and iWork '11 with it. {Smile}

Haha, I've been saving up for mine for quite a while. I mean, I've had the money, but the unfortunate thing about bills and expenses is that you have to build up a "buffer zone" as well, so it's taken a while. But oh well, I've finally gotten it. {Grin}

Haha, close. It would be called a "SexyBook" {Grin}

...Then again, the terms are pretty much synonymous, so it's not a big difference. {Wink}

This statement really has no weight at all on the products themselves. For instance, the Infrared Saunas we sell at work come from the same manufacturing plant that many other companies also use (ranging from low-end to high-end saunas). The manufacturing plant builds according to each company's specifications, meaning you could have a low-quality computer company and a high-quality computer company having their computers made in the same plant, with vastly different results. Not to mention that the parts used are different, as are the milling processes themselves (aluminium unibody design, anyone?) -- most major brands in almost every industry at least partly share manufacturers (unless they have their very own plant, which isn't very cost effective in most cases), so stating that the manufacturer is the same is just a way of discrediting a product by association rather than the quality of the product itself. {Wink}
