vForums should have a signature of the week competition! That would be pretty sweet in my opinion. It could be placed right in this board or a sub board but it doesn't really matter.

Should we petition to Ross?

Good idea I was thinking more of a "general" design challenge, not just sigs etc where someone gives a brief (it can be as detailed as they wish) and people can give it a go.

For example, one on a forum i frequent had this one recently:

I like that. Giving scenarios. We should get one or two mods and get it started, it'll be good for activity.

If current mods are willing to manage it, I'md own. But managing SOTW is one hell of a job. It takes quite a lot of commitment, even though its a weekly thing.

It's that much. Get the winner to choose the next scenario. Make it so that it's on a weekend so that the mod has the most time to do it. Also, make it so that any of the mods can do it so that if one forgets, there are another 2 or 3 to finish it.

I will mention this to Ross for you.

Yeah it would only require one member of staff , most likely the design team like blanka. Im sure he will have 5minutes to set a SOTW up

Don't go picking staff unless Blacka is 100% dedicated to it. If he can run it every week and be on time and all that then let him do it- if he wants.

As I have said, the other staff are perfectly capable of also running this. If the need arises!

Sounds like a very good idea. I'm up for it.

If there's a enough dedicated designers that will participate, then i don't see why not. I doubt there's enough sig designers, so making it a "general challenge" is probably the best to do.

I'm willing and dedicated to help run the "GOTW".

Consider it payback I thought something was wrong with my post too I just couldn't figure it out.
