Do any of you have piercings? If so, what are they? Did you get in trouble for them? What piercings do you want?

I got my friend to pierce mine today because I didn't trust myself with piercing it as I'd probably have done it crooked. My dad seemed annoyed, but I can tell he'll punish me in some other way soon. Personally I don't understand why, as it's my body, but I didn't want him to be angry so I didn't add in that comment.

Anyway, the next [and most likely last] piercing I'll be getting is my lip pierced, but that won't be until this summer.

Not big on piercings. I have none, and I plan to never have any unless it's something crazy. Like.. my finger pierced, just for the hell of it.

When I was like 10... got my ear pierced twice, but stopped wearing my earrings when I was about 11. Not a big fan anymore. I want a tattoo though

I have alot of piercings.

I got 1 in my lip, nose, and both ears. I'v had them since I was 16.

I'm majorly squeamish.

Any more silly questions?

Personally, i'm not big on piercings, and i cant see myself getting one. I've considered a tattoo but never a piercing.

Meh I don't like piercings, my friend has piercings all over like 3 or 4 on each ear, 1 on both sides of his mouth, and one tongue one. Personally I don't like them, I don't even like tattoos. I am not a big fan of Pain.

I'm not a fan of people having lots of piercings. I think allowing females to pierce their ears should be the limit, and even they're something I'm not overly keen on

My friend is a Goth, or an Emo or what ever you want to call him, so thats why he has allot.

Not wanting to get off track with this topic, all I'll say on this is that if he has piercings because of the social group he's stereotyped in, then that's pretty pathetic.

Contrary to popular belief, piercings aren't in the least bit painful. It's nothing more than a pinch, to be honest.

The two piercings on his mouth you're talking about are called "Snakebites". Personally I don't much like them; I would never get more than one lip piercing.

Tongue piercings, while I like the way they look, I would never personally get one. Some of the nerves in your tongue are very sensitive, and as weird as it sounds, getting it pierced wrong could actually lead to brain damage. That and you lose taste buds.

That was a very stereotypical comment.

I don't care too much for tattoos although I wouldn't mind getting something small. Something like a nickname for myself or something on my left forearm.

You just said he did it because he's a goth/emo [which are two completely different and very unrelated stereotyped groups, by the way. ], I'm confused as to which it is now.

As I said he follows his own self, He does not copy others, which then is called a stereotype, He calls himself Goth, but Goth to me, is in the 13th century, were it was all medieval and such, I call him Emo, because that is an Emo.

An "Emo" is someone who openly expresses their emotions without fear of prejudice or hate. "Scene" bands such as Story Of The Year have made it out to be something it's really not.

But enough about stereotypes, let's stick to piercing discussions.
