Prefilled post (15th Jul 11 at 3:21am UTC)
Resolved - How to get a prefilled post
Forum URL: http://evilsmurfs.vforums.co.uk/smurfs

Browser: Firefox 5.0
Operating System: Windows XP SP3

Problem:
Hello,

I would like to have posts prefilled in my forum. I mean when a member click on the New Thread button, I would like that some texts are already there, providing a template for the writer.
This current post is a typical example.

Regards.

You can use this: http://support.virtualforums.co.uk/board/database/topic/25/action/view_topic/predefined-posting-template-form

it's a little different than what your first post has.

Thank you Nick.

This is great. Sorry for having raised an already asked question {Unsure}

This is exactly what I need. I did not customise it yet, but the behaviour is the one expected, I tested it on my Forum and works fine. This is opening wide possibilities...
Now my further steps will be to investigate how to prevent reply to be formatted same way, but I will have a look on my own.

Thanks again.

Not quite sure on the replying part, never tried or thought of it, haha. But if you figure something out, let me know. {Smile}

and you are welcome. {Smile}
