From one service to another? (12th Feb 09 at 4:41am UTC)
Hey Ross would it be possible to transfer all posts, members, etc to vForums? The service is PB. Thanks, Darkmage (If possible, I have to ask the main admin of the forum if he wants to do the change. I already made a post about it in the staff board on our forum, but he is not on right at this moment.)

ProBoards will not give out their source files to allow a conversion off of the service.

Just to confirm what Aki says. Any form of conversion needs access to some form of database containing that information. And PB is never willing to give those database files to anyone.

alright. We don't want to start over because: Total Topics: 933 - Total Posts: 8,767 Total Members: 217 Forum Age: 10 days, 9 months, 1 year. But alright. (No one saw my post in the staff board anyways. So I will delete it before main admin sees it ) Thanks Aki and Ross.

I doubt it.. I have posted this thread on the forum. I can ask what everyone thinks about it first. But we have ALLOT of skins there. I know when I converted my forum from PB to here. It was very hard (Of course this service was completely new.) Making all the boards, skins, finding out that the codes did not work here. The codes we use there are features here though. (Besides the tables code, which is easy to convert. )
