Boards in different place (11th May 08 at 8:06am UTC)
but in move boards it shows them in the right place
Forum URL:http://vfad.vforums.co.uk
Experienced By: me
Browser: FF2
Operating System: Vista

Problem:
As the topic, and topic description say The boards are in a different place. but in the 'move boards' it shows them in the right place.

The boards that show in Invision are supposed to be in the General Category, but its not. What happened? and the Purge forum thing does not work.

Thanks,
Darkmage

Thats not going to work as you can see; http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x20/magedesigns/VForumsAdvertising-Home_12105051738.png if I move the category it will also move the boards with 'that category' and not into the 'General category' were I want it to be.

Believe me when I say that running reorder categories will fix the issue. At least try it before saying that it won't help.

{Unsure} why does it do that? It worked, but I can't see why it shouldn't be in the right place in the first place. It was just fine last month before I closed it then I open it up and notice it just last night.

The issue of boards getting mixed up seems to occur when two categories have the same order. By reordering them you ensure that all categories have a unique order. At some point I will look further into a permanent fix but reordering will fix it whenever it occurs for now {Smile}
