pmskypemsnyahoo | Posting Templates (3rd Apr 11 at 9:02am UTC) | | On two large rival hosts doHTML is becoming very popular, and the other board has a code now that allows style sheets within posts and it seems fine by Patrick/Martyn there.
I'd like to be able to make posting templates on vForums. For we can have a pretty unique post layout. CSS makes it easier to do quotes, texts, etc. It's popular to have colored tables, and a table header. However, I don't think vForums will allow that. So how about a system that let's us save a posting template to have it automatically insert into our posts? It'd be cool if we can do something in the template like {define b color=FF0000} or something.
Yeah I know this is a longshot.
This is a sample layout that I use for a character.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nunc nec nulla dui, rutrum sodales dolor. Morbi placerat magna iaculis erat volutpat tincidunt. Vestibulum sagittis suscipit rutrum. Praesent consequat tempor orci, sagittis sodales massa aliquet sed. Vestibulum massa mi, venenatis at lobortis a, accumsan non erat.
Phasellus porttitor nisl in justo luctus rhoncus. Fusce elementum lorem risus. In in urna magna. Donec ullamcorper eleifend sollicitudin.
On another host that allows doHTML these kinds of templates are awesome. This is one I use there: (Personal post CSS is becoming popular on the host that starts with a P now too, and phpbb, vbulletin and IPB paid versions). I am not sure exactly waht I want. I think perhaps a drop down or something to "insert" our template like I posted above would be sufficient enough.
Here's a doHTML example for a post:
Quote: [doHTML]<style> .azar { padding: 5px; padding-bottom: 480px; width: 350px; font-family:verdana; color:#252423; font-size:8pt; line-height:15px; letter-spacing:0px; text-align:justify;} .azar strong { font-weight: normal; color:#694022; } .azar p {font-style:italic; color: #82673a; text-align: right; } </style> <div style="background: url(http://ashkir.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/azarith.png) no-repeat bottom #bba993; width: 360px; margin: 0 auto;"><div class="azar"> text here </div> </div>[/dohtml] | |
