pmwww vForum | | Notice that you're editing not quoting. (5th Feb 10 at 6:42pm EST) | | This would be a neat option to have in profile settings as a moderator or above when editing other people's posts as a notification that you're editing not quoting just in case.
A lot of people (guilty myself) accidently press edit without thinking.

If you fall I’ll catch, if you love I’ll love, And so it goes, my dear, don’t be scared, you’ll be safe, This I swear. If you only love me back.

(7th Feb 10 at 3:09pm EST) | | | yeah, I used to do the same. on a forum when I was promoted from normal member to Mod. of being a year of being a regular member, you are familiar with what you have in front of you. When you are promoted to mod, you get that edit button for every ones post. well.... I'd always hit the edit button instead of quote, and thus I have to re-edit the post, take what I said out, tell them that it was an accident, and then look carefully and press the quote button. This happened quite often to me.
Have a PS3? Play Modern Warfare2? Add me Darkmage4. |

Or as Marc said, a simple code could add a big message above the modify post page.

(8th Feb 10 at 10:00am EST) | | | Even as an admin, I've clicked the edit button, and just tell the above poster that I did that, now with the template system, I simply but the buttons in the order I'm used to them being in as they are on other forums that I'm non-staff on.
