Select boxes would either:
Be much more difficult for you to set because there'd be so many options to choose from or
Would severly limit the ability to limit posting permissions on a per group/rank basis
How about a "Check/Uncheck All" button so you can quickly select/deselect all the boxes? | |

Seems good to me, as if you don't want that particular rank in a board or posting, you can click on that rank and it will un-check or check it as you would by category titles. | |
