dog199200 Guest | Bug After Forum restore (18th Apr 10 at 5:32pm UTC) | | Ross,
1) I noticed that after restoring the forum that the option for changing its url isn't there. I'd like to change it to http://www.digimondynamics.vforums.us instead of it being .co.uk. The forum was never changed before as I think it was deleted even before the feature was released.
2) Delete Old Topics / Posts; It doesn't work at all. No matter what I choose it comes back saying that 0 posts have been removed. (Entire Topics, Posted more than 1 Days Ago, Delete Only Locked Topics: No, Ignore Sticky Topics: No, All Boards Checked That I Want To Clear)
3) I have a sub-board that still say its got as post in it even after deleting the post, when viewing from the forums main page, or when viewing the sub-boards main board.: Main Board: http://digimondynamics.vforums.co.uk/filecity | Sub-Board: Digi Hut
Edit: I'll keep adding as i find more bugs

That should also fix the second one too.

pmwwwgtalkvForum | Re: Bug After Forum restore (18th Apr 10 at 8:14pm UTC) | | For #1, back in Feb we changed all forums which hadn't set a preference to use vforums.co.uk I will change the preference to vforums.us for you.
For #2, will look into that shortly
For #3, it looks like this is related to the issue with #2. The replies to this topic all exist, but the topic itself doesn't (which is why it is getting confused). I'll have them removed too.

If you said "No" it wanted to only delete sticky topics Who knows what I was thinking when I wrote that line of code. Anyway, if you want to give it another go then let me know if it works a bit better this time

pmwwwgtalkvForum | Re: Bug After Forum restore (18th Apr 10 at 8:46pm UTC) | | Lets put it this way, are there any posts on there you want to keep? lol (particular boards and/or topics)
It may be easier for me to test the delete old posts feature on your forum using the same settings and/or wipe them via the database.
I've got a feeling something went pretty wrong the first time you tried to delete all the old posts as it appears that half of topics have been deleted (the issue in #3) which I have no other explanation for As I posted that an idea struck me! I've come up with another fix but have not yet uploaded it. Let me know if I can do a test run on deleting all old topics in the Chatter Zone, it makes sense to try the fix on the forum which has the issue
[ I'm leaving my PC for the next hour but will give it a go then if you want ]

pmwwwgtalkvForum | Re: Bug After Forum restore (18th Apr 10 at 10:36pm UTC) | | OK, so it had to be a solution in two parts.
Firstly, I have fixed a bug which now ensures all posts within deleted topics are marked as deleted when using "Delete old Topics" (this will stop them showing up in the last post column)
Secondly, I found I had to also run the "Delete old Posts" feature on the Chatter Zone boards. This was to fix an issue caused by a combination of the above bug and running the "Purge database" feature. This shouldn't be needed in the future since that bug is now (hopefully) fully fixed.
I've only done this for chatter zone. You should be able to do the same for any other categories still showing posts.
