OK i'm the co-owner..I did all images and the skin design.. Can you please tell me what you think of it and how i can make it better?
Keep in mind that this board has been transfered over from a proboards site that had over 600 members and over 10,000 posts but we couldn't transfer over the accounts and all the threads and what not. Also we just posted over on the other site telling them about the new site today. | |

Background is very nice!. It repeats nicely and wraps around the forum nicely. But is it just me or the "digimons" look blurry? I would sharpen it and remove the outer glow
I'm liking the head/base images. Its very different from other forums, which is a big plus because a successful forum must be unique. Only thing that needs improving on it is a lighter border that stands out more. Maybe same color as the board border?
Next thing, is that you should make your forum width wider than 730 pixels because the ads stand out too much and ruins the look imo. Shouldn't be too hard to convert it.
Banner looks nice but too simple...i think you should use some "cool effects" (you can learn how to do them by looking at tuts) in it. However the render are nicely blending and looks good i think. Text needs some more.....ummm spice to it lol.
What are the on/off icons? They look weird...and dont fit the color scheme. Grads are nothing exciting but they do work
Overall its a pretty decent design but there are some flaws here and there. Feel free to ask me for help and good luck on your forum.

I went through and sharpened the background, but i don't know how to resize the forum with out messing up the background image deigns...\
Edit: OK i got some new on/off icons that fit better and i had sharpened the background. But i still cant resize it with out messing up how the background fits to the forum width. And as for the logo, i don't have any of the images that i used to make it, after i uploaded it i had a hdrive crash and i lost everything. So i don;t know how to remove and change the font with out messing it up either. | |
