Things I liked:
It was clear what the forum was about, The Pictures and the layouts great. It was clear where everything was going.
Things that jumped out at me:
I almost missed the welcome message, The white on the grey title bar does not pop out very clearly on most of the category names. As a matter of personal taste I do not like the background color it looks ok on my LG monitor bu on my laptop screen does not look as good and detracts from the site.
Overall: Great site a vistor does not see any empty boards with no posts, it is easy to navigate and see what is what 8/10 | |

I'm on a laptop as well. and everything looks fine  I even have the brightness down very low. So I don't understand how you missed the welcome text in the first place...
I'm thinking about deleting it anyways. Unless someone else want's to take over?
