in need of a editing program (16th Feb 08 at 11:40am UTC)
erm none of you would happen to know any good photo editing sites.. i had photoshop but .. it died on me and .. now everything i get is just crap i want something i can make animations with like Image just something simple

Have you tried gimp? Its the best thing out there that is free and it could the simple stuff and animation easily (animation is easier than photoshop imo) .

Well, first of all gimp.. Free.. bleh, and second is Imageready if your interested in animated GIFs and what not. {Smile}

To be honest, it's one of the best free programs available. If you want better then it's forking out a bit of cash for Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro.

Still, each to their own {Smile}

What don't you like about gimp? It is really a good program that can do everything you listed and its free. Unless you are willing to pay $500 for a graphic programs like PS or PSP.

blanka is right, It's probably the best program out there that is actually free, I consider you just get used to the Gimp and if you will want to blow 500-600$ on a better program, then that's fine. IMO.
