Surreal Water (21st Jan 08 at 6:58pm UTC)
Image

You like? I think I overdid the blue highlight, shouldn't have done it, but it looked boring without it. I wanted to add some type of subject, so I went with a fish, though I did want like a gothic style person, but I couldn't get it to work out. Another hard thing was making it seem like there is water on top of the cracked ground. I just put water on a layer below it, then feathered the ground layer a lot. Don't know if it worked =/ Anyways, thanks for any suggestions. This is an extra credit project for Photo Design and its due Thursday so any help is appreciated.

My bad. I don't know why I said manip. It's more of a surrealist image. We were suppose to model it after an image from this guys site:
http://www.uelsmann.net/
He's an awesome surrealist. I don't remember which piece of his work I modeled this after, but he has a lot of water ones that gave me inspiration.

I basically just worked with this image. Made it greyscale, opened some blue channels, added the texture and silhouette ect.. Click
