RSS Feeds (10th Jan 08 at 11:29pm UTC)
RSS Feeds are something I've not really used before. I kind of understand the concept and how they can be useful to some people but I simply never have the time to keep up with them so tend not to use them at all. But my question to you is do you use RSS feeds? And if so what kind of content do you use it for and what feed readers do you use?

I only read them on my phone... normally used for BBC News.. though if vF got one, I'd have that on my phone so that I knew what code support needs doing etc...

RSS feeds, I used them somewhat, but the sites that gave me one had a code to convert to JavaScript/XHTML. I usually used news ones from CNN or Reuters. So oy. Though RSS feeds on forums, dunno how it'll work, but I seen it requested a lot for total posts, online users, etc for main websites or different places of boards. So good luck! =D

I use them on my PSP a lot. I think easier to use than podcasts. I mostly stream sports shows.

Who said anything about them being implemented on here? Although if there's enough demand then I will setup feeds for things like the X most recent posts, new PMs etc. But since it's not a field I know much about I thought I'd try to gather some user input first. Expecially in regards to how you choose to add and view feeds.

I used to have to do RSS for OI, but yay it shut down... oops shouldn't really talk about that... hi ross! (orphicinc.proboards62.com if you guys keep records on shut down sites, please PM me the info) but for podcasts that I did I would do the XML/RSS for it. Now I just bookmark the news sites cause the RSS doesn't have like featured stuff
