pmwww | | About my laptop... (12th Aug 08 at 2:33pm UTC) | | Some of you may know that I recently lost my laptop  from a virus called AntivirusXP 2008, well I talked to Toshiba and they said that my hard drive is damaged. Well I did not believe that. So I joined The Vista Forums and they said that my Hard drive is fine, and all I need is the installation disc to do a clean install.
I called Toshiba for the second time. They said it is still my Hard Drive, but to make sure it is not the Hard Drive they are sending me some discs, (Vista Installation disc/Recovery discs) I have the recovery disc's but they are not working. But if it is my Hard Drive, Toshiba is going to send me a UPS box and I will have to send it to a city 20-30 miles away from our city. If that does happen I am going to ask them if they can fix my right speaker as well.
So I am happy that my laptop will/should be fixed by this Friday or Monday. and if it is my hard drive a few 2-3 weeks.

pm | | Re: About my laptop... (12th Aug 08 at 11:16pm UTC) | | Awww, so long away. I hate laptops for this reason - they are so damn hard to fix. Cause you can't buy parts off the internet for laptops for some reason, maybe cause they are too hard to build and not worth it.
Thats why I prefer PCs. If you think your HDD is gone, shove another in there to test it out  If it's still broken, then it's something else lol. | |
