Man killed by shark
Quote:
SOLANA BEACH, Calif. (April 25) - A shark believed to be a great white killed a 66-year-old swimmer with a single, giant bite across both legs Friday as the man trained with a group of triathletes, authorities and witnesses said.

This is just terrible. A 66 year old man, training for a triathelon gets bit by a great white shark, and dies. Thats really upseting. Thats in my thoughts one of the worst ways to die. A slow and painful death...Geeze.

It really wasn't that slow. He was bit, and then the article said he possibly died there in the water. I agree with the painful part, but he was dead pretty quickly. It doesn't take that long anyways for 2 legs to just stream out blood before you die.

Also my input to the whole incident, it's nature. The shark, in my opinion, shouldn't be killed because the only person who saw it is dead and they may kill the wrong one, and also because if they kill every shark that bites because it confused a human for prey then they will go extinct. Sure it doesn't occur that often, but you never know until they're gone.

Very true, i dont think they should kill it but i think they should get it away from all the children in the water. If that was a child, it would make this worse.
