Different cookies are set for different domains. I believe it does ones for user.vforums.co.uk, user.virtualforums.co.uk and one set with no domain path. So this is intentional to ensure the cookies get set no matter how the forum is being accessed. | |

When the server doesn't specify a domain to use, the users browser should set it to the current domain they are on. | |
