Are you copying the text from another source and pasting in into the editor (eg. another website or another program). And finally, what effects have you attempted to apply to that post? (eg. I have not used any extra effects, I just typed it in and pressed post and it went white. Possibly the installation? Try to upgrade to IE8 and see what happens. It's possible that your computer has cached a version of the editor which is clearly not working right.
